Hi all, if you are a US citizen living outside of the US, and you have registered to vote using the Federal Post Card Application, you should now have received your ballot by email for this year's election. (If you didn't receive it, start investigating what's going on- is it in your spam folder? did you not check the box to receive your ballot by email? are you somehow not registered for this year?) Vote vote vote! My advice is to do it as soon as possible, especially if you are from a state that requires you to mail it.
If you have not registered to vote yet: It's not too late! Go to https://www.votefromabroad.org/ - it will walk you through all the steps.
If you are in Shanghai, China- the US consulate here can mail ballots for us. Bring your US passport, and make sure your ballot is in the correct kind of envelope so it will be mailed for free. (Example envelope here, but you shouldn't need this one because at the download link in the email they should give you the envelope template you need.) You don't need to make an appointment. Probably other US consulates around the world also have this service. (Any questions, if they're about China then I can answer, if they're about somewhere else I can connect you to someone who can.)
